I do like the use of patterns in interiors. Herringbone patterns look especially cool and stylish and when used as a flooring pattern it adds depth and great visual interest to any space. I have a huge crush on wooden herringbone flooring and am dreaming that one day I can use a similar pattern in my own hallway or kitchen.

Isn’t this a gorgeous room? I love the chandelier, the butterfly chair…the tall handsome antique mirrors and of course the flooring, lends the entire space an old French style flair. http://www.designchaser.com
